On November 11, 2022, Atour Lifestyle Holdings Limited (“Atour”) successfully completed its IPO on the Nasdaq, the first IPO in China’s new lodging economy. Atour issued 4.75 million American Depositary Shares (ADSs) at a price of USD 11 per ADS, with the scale of over-allotment not exceeding 712,500 ADSs. The total amount raised was USD 60.1 million (if the over-allotment options are exercised in full). This was the first Chinese IPO to issue ADSs in the United States since mid-2021 with a valuation of approximately USD 1.5 billion and was deemed an ice-breaking U.S. IPO for Chinese enterprises.
