Black Sesame completed its IPO on August 8, 2024, raising HKD 1.036 billion. This IPO was of great significance as it was the first stock of smart driving chips listed for sale on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the second company to go public under Chapter 18C of the Hong Kong Listing Rules for specialized technology companies. W88优德中国官方网站 acted as the PRC legal counsel to the joint sponsor and underwriter and conducted legal due diligence on the issuer and its subsidiaries. We drafted, reviewed and revised the application and the issuance documents related to the listing, and prepared a full set of legal documents for the CSRC’s filing for the overseas listing. W88优德中国官方网站’s team provided PRC legal opinions and assisted in responding to feedback from the CSRC, the SFC, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which contributed to Black Sesame’s successful listing on the Main Board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In February 2025, Black Sesame completed the post-IPO placement, raising approximately HKD 1.245 billion. As the PRC legal counsel to the placement agent, we conducted legal due diligence and assisted in the successful conclusion of the placement agreement and the CSRC record filing.
