Mr. Zhao Zhen is a partner at 优德88中国官方网站’s Beijing office. Before joining 优德88中国官方网站, he worked as a partner in a well-known law firm. He also had a long judicial career and presided over and participated in thousands of cases, gaining a profound understanding of commercial law.

Mr. Zhao has been involved in many domestic and international litigation cases, including the “Vanke-Baoneng Spat”, KDX’s 12.2 billion funds embezzlement dispute, China Consumers Association’s first national consumer public interest litigation case and Lunan Pharmaceutical’s  control rights dispute.  He excels in handling major complex and challenging commercial disputes.

Mr. Zhao  specializes in cross-border dispute resolution. Recently, he won a shareholder and company interest dispute between ATA Creativity Global and two British Virgin Islands companies, Alpha Advantage Global Limited and Dynamic Fame Limited. The case was arraigned by the Supreme People’s Court’s International Commercial Court for a trial of first instance.

For six consecutive years from 2019 to 2024, Mr. Zhao has been recognized as the “Leading Individual” in the field of dispute resolution (litigation) by “The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific Ranking”. He also received special recognition in the field of dispute resolution (arbitration).

From 2021 to 2024, Mr. Zhao was named a “Litigation Star” in the China region by  Benchmark Litigation. He received this honor for four consecutive years in the areas of “Commercial Disputes” and “Construction and Real Estate”.

In 2023, Mr. Zhao was nominated a Litigation Lawyer of the Year by The Legal 500 China Awards.
