During his 15 years practice with the Japanese law firm, Mr. Ma counseled various leading multinational corporations regarding their operations and investments in China. He has substantial experience in complicated foreign direct investment projects, mergers and acquisitions, divestment and liquidation projects, corporate compliance and labor law matters. His practice covers a wide range of industries including construction, chemicals, food, manufacturing, automotive, international trade, financial services, pharmaceuticals and IT. With his vast experience in cross-border transactions and his background of working and living in Japan, Mr. Ma has played an active role in assisting Chinese corporations in their international business dealings and expanding their investments in Japan.
