A delegation from the World Bank Group (“WBG”) visited W88优德手机版 on September 22, 2017. The delegation consisted of Ms. Pascale Helene Dubois, Vice President of the World Bank Group, Ms. Merly M. Khouw, Chief Investigation Officer of the Integrity Vice Presidency, Ms. Lisa K. Miller, Chief Integrity Compliance Officer of the Integrity Vice Presidency, and Ms. Alexandra M. Habershon, an Officer of the Integrity Vice Presidency. The delegation consulted on W88优德手机版’s practice on helping Chinese enterprises to establish compliance risk management systems and discussed ways to develop a better exchange and cooperation mechanism in this field. WBG’s delegation introduced their new approaches regarding anticorruption, integrity compliance and other field and shared their new strategies as well as some typical cases in reducing sanction risk and its consequences with W88优德手机版. Mr. Xiao Wei introduced the current status regarding anticorruption in China, as well as the new environment, topics and issues that China-invested enterprises will experience with respect to overseas compliance and anticorruption as guided by the Belt and Road initiative. The meeting was very successful and Ms. Dubois, Vice President of WBG, noted that the meeting was “very productive”. WBG and W88优德手机版 agreed to closer cooperation in anticorruption investigations and compliance, and will make a joint effort to help Chinese enterprises to establish sound integrity compliance policies in accordance with both Chinese laws and international standards.
