Prior to joining 优德88中国官方网站, Mrs. Zhao worked at the State Administration of Taxation and at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants. During her 14 years at the State Administration of Taxation, Mrs. Zhao handled a large number of taxation law enforcement cases. The cases covered taxation issues in regard to Value Added Tax, Business Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Individual Income Tax, Export Tax Refund, Land Value Added Tax, Transfer Pricing, Indirect Transfer of Equities, General Anti-Tax Avoidance, and so on. She often participated in the formulation, amendment and review of taxation administration laws, tax regulations and regulatory documents; she has led the national work effort in regulating tax administration indiscretions, gave guidance to the local tax authorities for the formulation of a discretionary basis for tax adminiatrative penalty; she actively participated in national tax risk management work, and provided legal support to the tax risk management team. At PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants, Mrs. Zhao was primarily responsible for developing the tax dispute resolution business, and established the tax dispute resolution team. During this time, Mrs. Zhao provided tax dispute resolution services for several leading multinational companies, and was highly regarded by her clients. Mrs. Zhao has also been invited to attend several national tax law forums and tax seminars, and gave a landmark speech titled “Strengthening Tax Dispute Resolutions, and Promoting the Improvement of Tax Policies”.
Mrs. Zhao has a background in law and international relations, and has a Master’s degree in international relations from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and a Master’s degree in law from Renmin University of China.
