(Aluminum-based Group). This investment represents a key deployment of national industrial capital in Guangxi's new materials and advanced manufacturing industries. As a national-level 'Little Giant' specializing in niche sectors and a leading enterprise in Guangxi's manufacturing industry (battery aluminum foil), the Aluminum-based Group is a leading company in the battery aluminum foil field in Guangxi. The investment funds will be used for the construction and operation of its 200,000-ton slab plant in Long'an County. This holds significant importance for strengthening the regional industry and supply chains, while driving local economic development.
This project overcame multiple challenges during the due diligence and transaction structure design. During the due diligence phase, the project team engaged and communicated with various departments of the target company under its overall coordination. They thoroughly reviewed the complex historical evolution of the target company and other aspects such as the aluminum manufacturing production line. During the modification and negotiation of the transaction documents, it was necessary to coordinate and integrate the rights arrangements of other investors in the same round, effectively balancing the commercial demands and legal rights of all the investors. Additionally, the project needed to address the compliance impact of the Rules for the Operation of State-owned Asset Transactions (Document No. 17) on exit mechanisms and state-owned asset procedures.
